Title of Work = Time displacement disorder , Size = 12x 14
I created this piece to reflect my growing discontent with the excessive management of time that is present in American life. The broken alarm clocks represent my inability to conform to the manufactured time schedule of the normal citizen. The image of multiple clocks spinning out of time is meant to invoke anxiety and disorientation in the viewer that reflects my current state of mind. I have self diagnosed this fictional disorder as “Time Displacement Disorder”, a reflection of my disconnection with time.
